CREDIT AND CANCELLATION GUIDELINES
FOR WORKSHOPS
CANCELLATIONS
A workshop leader may cancel her workshop if the minimum number
of participants she has designated fails to sign up. When a workshop
is cancelled, the leader is expected to promptly notify those who
have signed up that the workshop will not be taking place.
CREDITS
Credits earned by the Workshop Leader:
The workshop leader receives one credit for each hour spent preparing
and giving the workshop. For example, if it takes five hours to prepare
for a four-hour workshop, the leader would receive 9 credits.

Credits paid by the Participants:
The total credits earned by the workshop leader are divided among
the participants and each participant is charged an equal share of the total. Example:
if in the above case there were 6 participants, each would be charged 1
1/2 credits for the workshop (9 : 6 = 1 1/2):
| credits earned by leader: |

| credits paid per participant: |
1.5 |
Workshop participants may not be charged more than 1.2 credit per
hour of workshop time. It is therefore important that the workshop
leader determine the minimum number of participants she needs in
order to make doing the workshop worthwhile.
