"My finished abstract paintings began to remind
me of the material of fragile insect butterfly or dragonfly
wings, so I began to work with insect images for their surprising
colors and combinations of colors, and for their delicacy.
There should be surprise and humor in colors and combinations.
These tempura paintings, 18" X 24", placed together,
form a whole wall of color." |
